Milwaukee Country ClubThe Milwaukee Country Club original golf course opened in 1896 and moved to the River Hills location in 1911. The Harry Colt/Charles Alison design was opened in 1929 and Robert Trent Jones Sr. was a consultant for minor changes to the course in 1974. The 1969 Walker Cup Match and the 1988 USGA Senior Amateur events were hosted by Milwaukee Country Club, as well as many Wisconsin State Opens and a few Wisconsin Amateur Championships.
