Don't come to this one thinking diddy-bump executive easy course. This Schmidt-Curley design has some very difficult, championship style par 3's, so if any part of your iron game or short game is off, you won't be happy with your score. Let's say you're a 4. You play the back tees and right off the bat you've got 175 yards with water tight to the green in front and to the right. Add 17 other holes with all kinds of challenges and you just see if you can shoot a 62, which is what you'd need to shoot your handicap. Go ahead, try it. $25 or so for 18 holes, nobody from out of town even knows about this course, yet it's the perfect place to get your round in and still have time for poker and blackjack. Let's just hope you have better luck at the tables than you will at this course.
