Motels, hotels, lodging for Princeton

Springdale was built in the middle of Princeton University and serves as the home course for the Princeton University golf team. It has many sand bunkers and trees throughout; small, fast greens; and narrow fairways. The signature hole is #17, a 404-yard, par 4. Water comes into play on two holes, 10 and 18. This club was originally founded in 1895 by the alumni, faculty, and undergraduates of Princeton University as a nine-hole track. It has been listed by the USGA as one of the first 100 clubs established in the U.S. and was recognized by GOLF MAGAZINE in its 1995 list of "The First 100 Clubs in America." In 1915 the original nine-hole course was replaced by a new 18-hole course in a different location. William S. Flynn reworked some of the course's features in 1928.

Springdale Golf Club is an 18-hole regulation length golf course in Princeton, New Jersey. This short layout has 3 sets of teeboxes for a fun, but challenging golfing experience. Online tee times may be available at Springdale Golf Club or at nearby golf courses, usually offered at a discount from the normal rate.
