The Lodge At Ventana Canyon, Mountain Course features one of the most photographed holes in the Southwestern U.S., the 3rd. It's only 107 yards, but the canyons and cactii severely punish wayward shots. The tee offers a spectacular view that stretches across the Sonoran Desert for hundreds of miles. This rugged desert target course has numerous elevation changes and many elevated tee boxes. Putting surfaces undulate and usually run fast.

The Mountain Course at The Lodge At Ventana Canyon is an 18-hole regulation length golf course in Tucson, Arizona. This medium-length layout has adequate length for a regulation course. The course plays exceedingly difficult. Play from the back tees is recommended for only low-handicap and professional golfers. There is another course at this same golf club, the Canyon Course.
