Arrowood Golf Course is located in Oceanside, California. Designed by Ted Robinson Jr, the Arrowood course integrates natural beauty and great golf! The 18-hole course overlooks coastal North San Diego County. The course integrates many elevation changes as it follows the natural terrain. Many natural and man-made water features,plus, strategically placed bunkers challenge ever the skilled player. The coastal breezes and open spaces,coupled with the beauty, offers you have a delightful afternoon of golf!

Aviara Golf Club in Carlsbad, Califonia, is the only course in the San Diego area designed by Arnold Palmer. Listed as the #1 Golf Resort in San Diego by "Conde Nast Traveler", Aviara Golf Club overlooked the Batiquitos Lagoon ecological reserve. Water hazards have been created on the course using the lagoon as a natural setting. Coupled with a coastal setting, the course offers a unique experience! The rolling terrain, native flowers and plants and numerous bunkers create one of the best golf resort courses in America as listed by Golf Digest. The resort contains one of the finest facilities available with an exceptional driving range, putting and pitching greens, upscale pro shop and premier club house.

Bonita Golf Club course has been at its current site since 1981. As has happened often in California, the original course was taken over by the shopping center and a freeway. It is a course with the Sweetwater River running through 8 holes with a pond located by the last two holes.

Carmel Mountain Ranch Country Club is a semi-private course located 25 minutes from San Diego. It has been a site of the U.S. Open qualifier, so you will find the course in great shape. It offers elevation changes, water hazards, and fast greens to challenge the golfer who like to incorporate strategy.

Carlton Oaks Country Club is located in Santee, California. After originally opening in 1958, Peter Dye redesigned the course in 1989. The new design features meandering creeks lined with 400 mature trees for its fresh modern park-like design. The length was increased to 7,225 yards. Five tee boxes insure a challenging game for all skill levels. The 3 lakes and 2 streams add to the difficulty and beauty of the course.

Castle Creek Country Club is located in Escondido, Ca. Founded in 1948, the course was designed by Jack Daray. It features oak-lined fairways,white sandtraps and undulating greens. Moosa Creek meanders through the course creating water hazards and challenges on many of the holes. The championship 18-hole course offers many challenges for most golfers.

Center City Golf Club is located in Oceanside, Ca. This is one the whole family can enjoy! With a course slope of 94 and a length of only 4,797 yards, this 18-hole course has easy access for those in Oceanside. It is opened in 1951 and was designed by Ludwig Keehn.

City Golf Club and Accademy is right in San Diego, Ca. It is not actually a course, but a simulator that enables you to chose from over 60 course choices and the conditions under which you play.

Cottonwood Golf Club opened in 1962. It has 2 courses - the Monte Vista, and the Ivanhoe. Both have rolling hills and wide vistas as part of their appeal. The Monte Vista has small greens and is a tight course, while the Ivanhoe plays longer and has been used a qualifier for The Buick Open.

The Chula Vista Municipal Golf Club is located in Bonita. The Sweetwater River comes into play on many holes. This river, plus three lakes, makes the course beautiful and difficult. With a slope rating of 120 to 130 the course can be very challenging.

Doubletree Golf Resort is located in the Black Mountain foothills in the San Diego, Ca. area. William F. Bell designed the course that opened in 1964. In 1987 Jack Daray Jr. and Stephen Halsey added 3 holes and redesigned the rest of the course. It is managed by Arnold Palmer's company and is centrally located. The hilly, parkland terrain offers many challenges with 50-60 bunkers and many water hazards. Many of the holes test the accuracy of your hitting, with several giving you a chance to "whack" the ball.

Eastlake Country Club is a Ted Robinson course in Chula Vista. The design showcases open fairways lined with 900 trees, six lakes and 72 bunkers. It opened in 1991 with spectacular views of Mount Miguel.

Eagle Crest Golf Club is a 3½ star course that is positioned San Pasqual Valley in San Diego County. It has a wildlife preserve that wanders throughout the course with natural features accenting the course. You will find a series of challenging holes for all skill levels.

Escondido Country Club is located in Escondido, Ca. Harry and David Rainville designed the course which opened in 1965. The course is relatively flat in the front 9 with some rolling terrain on the back 9. Sandtraps are present on every hole with water hazards on seven holes. The large greens are fast, undulating and sloped.It is a semi-private course.

Fallbrook Golf Course is located in Fallbrook, Ca. in the beautiful Gird Valley. David Rainville also designed the course which opened in 1962. One of the few courses owned by an individual. It is a fine 18- Hole course. In 1999 it hosted the first Futures Golf Tournament for the LPGA. This park-like course features fairways lined with mature Oak, Sycamore and Eucalyptus trees. Stategically placed sand bunkers and water hazards complicate the shots to the well-manicured greens.

Lake San Marcos Country Club is in San Marcos, Ca. Designed by Harry and David Rainville, this course opened in 1963. The traditional design forms the North Course at the facility. Matures trees line the fairways that lead to some of the "best greens in San Diego". Located in the coastal foothills , this course has some of the most stunning views in the area.

Lake San Marcos South Course is actually the Lake San Marcos Executive Course. The short course, located in San Marcos, is a great place to test your skills in a short time. It is open from 7am. until sunset.

Lomas Sante Fe Executive Course is a Robert Trent Jones’ Course set in a spectacular ocean setting! You feel the breeze blowing as you see the wonderful coastal views. It’s only 2404 yards off the blue tees, but that’s why it is a treat for the whole family. It is the sight of the 2007 and 2008 Junior Worlds tournament for 9 and 10 year olds. It is located close to the private Lomas Sante Fe Country Club and is in Solana Beach.

Maderas Golf Club is located in Poway, Ca. Johnny Miller and Robert Muir Graves designed the course which opened in 2000. This upscale facility was created to test stategic ball hitting skills. It contains over 40 acres of native flowers, and is set in the midst of rolling hills and highlights the natural landscape. Three lakes, five waterfalls and a meandering creek create natural water hazards. Rocky cliffs and well-placed bunkers complete the challenges on this course, which is one of the most popular in the area.

Meadow Lake Golf Club is located in Escondido, Ca. Tom Sanderson designed the course which opened in 1961. The result is a course lined with mature oak trees and breath-taking views of the San Bernardino and San Jacinto mountain ranges. Long doglegs and blindspots created by large boulders complicate the accuracy of your shots! A lake on the course creates several water hazards on several holes. This course has the second largest slope rating in San Diego County, and considered one of the areas treasures.

Mission Trails is in San Diego, Ca! Opened in 1955 and Designed by William F. Bell it has two distinct areas on it 18-hole course. The front nine traverses the valley, and the back nine follows the Lake Murray shoreline.

Montesoro Golf and Social Club is located in Berrego Springs, Ca. Ted Robinson and Tom Fazio worked on the design, which originally opened in 1983. The Fazio additions were added in 2007. Palm trees line the fairways which lead to fast greens. They are are both bent grass.

Mt. Woodson Golf Club is located in Ramona, Ca. Lee E. Schmidtt and Brian Curley designed the course that opened in 1991. Nestled in the beautiful Ramona Mountains, the fairways follow the natural terrain. The property contains a historical landmark, the Amy Strong Castle built in between 1916 and 1921. Also,of interest is the wooden trestle and 450-foot golf cart bridge which passes 60 feet over a creek. The hilly terrain contains many elevation changes and uneven lies. There are many large sandtraps and large areas of natural vegatation that require great accuracy in your shots.

National City Golf Course is one of those small courses that allows you to test your skills in a short space of time. Richard Bermudas designed the course that is located in National City, Ca.

Oaks North Golf Course is a group of three small 9-hole courses in San Diego, Ca. It contains The North, South and East nines. They opened in 1962 and were designed by Ted Robinson Sr. The course features mature oaks that line the fairways with many water hazards and true greens. In 2005, Oaks North Golf Course was named the one America's Top Short Courses by Golf Range Magazine.

Oceanside Golf Course is located on the outer edge of Oceanside, Ca. near Camp Pendleton. Waterhazards and natural habitat challenge your shot on 14 of the 18 holes. Richard Bickler designed the course that opened in 1972. Undisturbed hillsides and ocean breezes make this an enjoyable course!

Pala Mesa Golf Resort has been recognized with a 4½ star rating by Golf Digest. It is considered one of the top 200 courses in the country. With a slope of 131 and tree-lined fairways, and fast greens it is surrounded by spectacular mountain views.

Rancho Bernardo Inn Golf Course is located in San Diego, Ca. It was designed by William F. Bell and built in 1962. It has recently been renovated to add more modern features.

Reidy Creek Golf Course is located in Escondido, Ca. Although an executive course, it will challenge your game on many levels. There are many elevation changes due to the natural valley terrain. Fairways are lined with tall trees and greens are complicated by water hazards and sand bunkers. The result is a short course unique because of its difficulty.

Riverwalk Golf Club formerly known as the Stardust Country Club, is located in San Diego, Ca. The facility features 3 sections- the Friars Course, the Mission Course and the Presidio Course. Designed by Ted Robinson Sr., the courses reopened in 1998 after being renovated, with the help of his son Ted Robinson Jr. The original design had been the sight of many famous PGA Tour games in the 50's and 60's, The fairways are now undulating instead of flat. They have added waterfalls, and protected bentgrass greens. Water comes into play on 13 of the 27 holes. The San Diego River runs through the course.

Sail Ho Golf Course is an Executive Course in San Diego, Ca. The course contains spectacular views of downtown San Diego and the harbor.

Salt Creek Golf Club was formerly called the Auld Course, and is located in Chula Vista, Ca. Located in the foothills of Mt. Miguel, the course borders natural wetlands and a State habitat preserve. John Cook and Gary Bickler designed the links-style layout which gives golfers a panoramic view of this area beauty. It features large landing areas, wide fairways and generous greens.

San Luis Rey Downs Golf Resort is located in the midst of the San Luis Rey River Valley in Bonsall, Ca. Wiiliam F. Bell designed the golf resort course which features elevated tees, wide tree-lined fairways, many water hazards, and medium to large greens. Wind frequently comes up, so use it as a factor in your club selection! Ponds and a creek come into play on seven of the holes. Out-of-bounds stakes are found of many of the holes.

San Vincente Inn and Golf Course is located in Ramona, Ca. It is in "the Valley of the Sun" area, so it offers breath-taking views as you golf. Ted Robinson designed the course that opened in 1971. It is a complete resort with tennis courts, two equestrian centers, an Olympic-sized pools, a jacuzzi and jogging paths. The fairways follow the natural terrain of the area, and are lined with giant oaks and cottonwoods.

Steele Canyon Golf Course is located in Jamul, Ca. Gary Player designed the course with three distinct 9-hole courses. Each Course offers a unique challenge for all skill levels of golfers. The Canyin Course offers many elevation changes with beautiful views. The Ranch Course has fairways that wander through fields of a working ranch, while the Meadows Course follow the valley floor offering woodland views and natural streams to cross. Taken together these courses form a 27-hole facility that has recieved the four star rating from Golf Digest.

Sycuan Resort in in El Cajon, Ca. is the sight of two 18-hole championship courses, and one 3 par fun course. The facility has a driving range with private instruction available, four large putting greens, chipping and pitching greens,two on course practise areas, and an indoor SWing Studio. The natural terrain, rocky outcroppings, mature oaks and sycamores, and numerous bunkers are present on all the courses. The first course to open of the facility was the Pine Glen Course which opened in 1950, is the short 3 par course. The Oak Glen Course opened in 1956, and the willow Course was the last to open in 1968. Ted Robinson was the original designer. He cameback in 1980 and redesigned many of the areas. Parts of the Oak Glen Course had been destroyed by heavy flooding from the Sweetwater River. Although it forms many of the water hazards on the Oak Glen Course, on that year damage was major. The Oak Glen Course has many ponds which also, challenge your game. Rolling fairways lined with trees, and undulating greens characterize this course, which was last redesigned by David Flemming in 1991. The Pine Glen Course is a great beginning course. Short, at 2505 yards, the Pine Glen Course offers all the experiences and challenges of longer courses in every hole. Your chipping and putting will be tested!It will be a place to test all your shot-making skills! The Willow Glen Course features narrow fairways and strategically placed bunkers. The Sweetwater River makes many holes on the course particularly difficult!

Tecolote Canyon Golf Course is located in the beautiful Tecolote area of Clairmont Mesa in San Diego. Designed by Robert Trent Jones it opened in 1964 as a longer executive course offering elevation changes, challenging tees and greens. Southland Golf Magazine listed the course as the “Best Challenge at an Executive Golf Course”.

The Crossings at Carlsbad, Ca. is a new course to the list. Golf Magazine rated it as one of the "Top 10 New Courses You Can PLay". It is located a mile from the Pacific Ocean. The course uses natural coastal habitat with its native flora and fauna to create a demanding course with spectacular Pacific Ocean views. Greg H. Nash designed the course that opened in 2007. Dramatic elevation changes, canyon walls and terrain, and shoreline vegatation create a test for your shot management! Ocean breezes often come up to take the ball, so be careful when you calculate your shots!

The Golf Club of California is in Fallbrook, Ca. The course which opened in 2002, is private ,but guests are encouraged. Mature oaks, sycamore and eucalyptus trees out line the fairways. Open spaces and ample wildflowers add to the relaxing experience found here, while elevation changes, undulating greens and meandering creeks create challenges on this course.

The Vineyard at Escandido is designed by David Rainville and opened in 1993. It is one of the most beautiful courses in the area. Containing 5 lakes, and winding through the vineyards and wetlands of the area it is as spectacular to see as to play. The wildlife preserve is also prominent and provides a spectacular touch. It has a lighted driving field, and target greens. There is also a practice putting green.

The Welk Resort San Diego is 36-hole course. The Fountain Course has been the scene of the Junior World Golf Championship for many years. It is one of the best short courses in San Diego. The Oaks Course is lined with 100 year-old oaks. It is a great course for the whole family and all skill levels.

Twin Oakes Golf is located in San Marcos, Ca. Designed by Ted Robinson, the course opened in 1993. The narrow tree-lined fairways have many elevation changes. The greens are both quick and undulating. The result is a course that can be very challenging for golfers of all skill levels. Holes are available that test your accuracy. Located near a wildlife habitat, you will come away refreshed.

Warner Springs Ranch is located in Warner Springs, Ca. David Rainville designed the course which opened in 1984. At an elevation of 3100 feet, the course meanders through the foothills of the Cuyamucca Mountains. You can see the Lake Henshaw and the Palomar Observatory. You can experience the full spectrum of nature with coyotes and bobcats, with wide open skies, and fresh air.

Woods Valley Golf Club is located in Valley Center, Ca. The wide fairways lead to large undulating greens and have stategically placed bunkers.The course opened in 2003. water hazards come into play on some holes. It was designed by Dave Ginkel.
