Meadow Links Golf Course in Dothan, AL. was listed in 1998 by Golf Digest as “the nation’s sixth best new affordable public course.” The course is actually located at George T. Bagby State park in Ft.Gaines, GA. The course features rolling fairways with long Bahia rough, large undulating greens, and 64 traps and bunkers. The course is 7,007 yards long with a course rating of 72.7. It has a slope of 133 and a par of 72. The course architect Willard Byrd take advantage of the beautiful terrain and views found in the area.

Sunny Hills Golf Course is in Chipley, FL.The course opened in 1974. This traditional golf course layout spans 7,095 yards for a par of 72. Designed by Gene Sarazen and Ken Venturi, the course has a slope rating of 120 and a 73.4 USGA rating. The greens and the fairways are bermuda grass.
